IANO U-CELLO-Prepared deviant radical cello

Iano U.cello is a character who chooses to use the malevolence (or « malwareness ») of the cities’ contingencies and turn them into an exorcism sound performance. The places of the bodies, of the performer, the instrument as well as the participants are central, materialised by a feed back system of little speakers manipulated on, in and by the bodies. Signals become the medium. Each second of their life, XXIst humans bodies are crossed by energetic waves : electric, electromagnetic, nuclear, or solar ones … Most of them are produced by human history, nothing is original-natural in this production, our bodies have to deal with that without any ressources and no clue on how to manage and control it. Without any information or education, we live in an invisible world that slowly induced new reactionS and behaviourS. My performances are a try to exorcise all of this.
